تطبيق Skype Qik مخصص للعمل على الهواتف الذكية و هو يحتاج إلى رقم هاتف المستخدم كما أنه يعمل باستقلالية عن برنامج سكايب المعروف.
من مميزات برنامج Skype Qik أنه يسمح بإرسال رسائل فيديو قصيرة إلى صديق أو مجموعة من الأصدقاء، و ستكون المدة القصوى للفيديو المرسل 42 ثانية فقط.
